Congratulations to the students and parents for receiving the Civic Days Committee Award at the July 4th parade. It was given in recognition for their outstanding float entry--a space shuttle soaring above the clouds and toward the stars, with the inscription "St. Anthony School: Reaching for the Stars."

The Rain Forest Is Coming! – Arrangements have been made for an appearance of Understanding Wildlife’s “LIVE ON STAGE,THE RAIN FOREST” to appear at St. Anthony School on Thursday, January 28th at 5:30 and 7:30 PM. This non-profit organization explains how energy conservation and recycling will help save the beautiful animals the children are seeing and other ways we can help save our rain forests. It is a wildly entertaining program for the entire family. Alligators, flying macaws, talking amazons, and very mischievous monkeys will keep you laughing.
The cost is $5 per person (children under 3 are free). Plan now to attend!

St. Anthony School will follow cancellation policies of the Fitchburg Public Schools. Please listen to WEIM 1280 AM for updates. School closings will also be broadcasted on Boston television stations.
In the event of school opening on Wednesday, the cafeteria will be serving the following menu: Wednesday-Steak and Cheese Grinders; Thursday-Pasta with Marinara Sauce; Friday-Pizza.
If school reopens on Thursday, the menu will be as follows: Thursday-Steak and Cheese; Friday-Pizza.
Parents will be contacted by the Connect-Ed System via landline and cell phones if and when necessary.
